Due to an unforeseen and unavoidable absence from the blogging scene, I wasn’t able to add some fantastic blogs to Planet Humanism.
In the spirit of “better late than never”, here they are:
Rant & Reason from the American Humanist Association
Daylight Atheism, those who bring you the Humanist Symposium
Welcome, one and all, to Planet Humanism! Sorry it took so long…
Firstly, new blogs. Please welcome the Planet Humanism family
Secular Planet, New Humanist magazine’s blog, Rational Thought, and a very new blog about Godless Parenting.
I look forward to reading your humanistic news and views.
Secondly, I’ve made a few changes to how blog posts are displayed. This is because some of the feeds were either being sent out corrupted or were being mangled after retrieval by the aggregator software, which was screwing up the template and making the site look very strange indeed.
To solve this, I’ve made some changes to the application so that posts are cleaned up, but this means that I have had to manually specify which (X)HTML elements are being allowed through.
If you see your posts not being displayed as they should be, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do to make them look as you expect them to.
I’ve still a few CSS issues to tidy up too, but these are relatively minor.
I’m proud to welcome to the humanist fold Black Sun Journal, A Load of Bright and No More Hornets.
Welcome one and all.
Introducing the Planet Humanism blog aggregator. Planet Humanism is for blogs that have a generic humanist focus or element, regardless if they are atheistic or not. Of course, I appreciate that some (most?) humanists are likely to come from an atheist perspective, but not all will, and hopefully this will be somewhere that our commonality of humanism can allow some conversation on common ground. If you’re interested in adding your blog to Planet Humanism, and if it has some kind of humanist element, drop me an email at planethumanism@nullifidian.net and let me know your blog’s:
